In this game, each player plays with community cards, no one is dealt their own hand. The hand starts with each player making a bet; let's just say for arguments sake the minimum bet is $10. So, you have placed your $10 bet and then the dealer, or the computer in the case of the online casino, deals out four cards to the community hand. Once these cards are dealt each player must decide whether they will fold or bet. Folding will cause you to lose your money, while betting will double your original bet. If you choose to bet, two more cards are dealt to the community hand.
The two betting options in this casino game are the Tequila Poker bet and the High Tequila bet. Choosing the Tequila Poker makes the game a regular 5-card poker game, where the best 5 cards from the 6 card community hand are used, and payouts begin with a pair of Aces and up. High Tequila changes the game into something similar to baccarat. The cards are ranked numerically, where Ace is equal to 11, faces are worth 10 and numbered cards are worth their number value. The five highest cards are used in this bet and payouts begin when the total value of the cards is equal to 46 and up.
